PTC Cares is a support program dedicated to helping you understand your insurance information and guide you through the prescription process. PTC Cares and its team of dedicated case managers can help answer questions about accessing medication, offer resources, and provide ongoing support with the initial prescription and throughout treatment.

PTC Cares WORKS WITH A SPECIALTY PHARMACY ON YOUR BEHALF TO HELP YOU ACCESS EMFLAZA

EMFLAZA is supplied through a specialty pharmacy, which operates differently than a retail pharmacy. The PTC Cares support team, consisting of case managers and the specialty pharmacy, works on your behalf through every step of the prescription process so you can access EMFLAZA.


Case manager responsibilities:

  • Initiates and processes the prescription
  • Works closely with the specialty pharmacy to evaluate your insurance for coverage
  • Explains your insurance benefits and any available patient support services
  • Provides referrals to advocacy groups
  • Provides tips for talking with your child‘s healthcare provider

Specialty pharmacy responsibilities:

Specialty pharmacy responsibilities:

  • Facilitates any necessary prior authorization with your provider
  • Schedules a complimentary and convenient delivery to your home
  • Proactively monitors when the next refill is due and calls you to schedule delivery
