Important dosing considerations

EMFLAZA should be given exactly as your healthcare provider tells you. He or she will determine how much should be taken and when, and may change the dose if needed. Your healthcare provider may also adjust the dose if your child gains or loses weight.

EMFLAZA can be taken with or without food.

Do not stop taking EMFLAZA or change the amount without consulting your healthcare provider as it may increase the risk of acute adrenal insufficiency or steroid withdrawal syndrome.

If you are already taking corticosteroids during times of medical stress, the dosage may need to be increased.
